Although not a new idea to the local marine and boatbuilding industry, Scomar saw the need to provide a mobile stock service that could offer more dependability and professionalism than what was currently offered by existing competitors.
It could be forgiven to consider it less of a van and more of a mobile warehouse, carrying in it an extensive selection of consumables and tools that will ensure something available for every customer’s needs.
With space understandably at a premium on board, Scomar's van best services those customers who require a “stop gap” in between larger orders, last minute stock-ups or impulse purchases.
Additionally, the van provides a product "snapshot" to help new and existing customers visualise Scomar's range, whilst also assisting to maintain a physical presence around industry locations.
Demonstrations and promotions of new and existing products are further available through the van, helping to keep customers informed.
