ROLLIX - DEFONTAINE

Rollix Defontaine was registered in 1974 after producing its first roller type slewing ring in 1969 for public works applications.

Rollix is located in Nantes, France and is a company dedicated to designing and manufacturing precision products.
Their slewing rings are specialised bearings that can simultaneously accommodate axial and radial forces, as well
as overturning moments imposed by off-centre loads, while providing full or partial rotation or oscillation.

ROLLIX manufacture Standard, Light and RLX Compact type slewing rings, as well as specialised bearings for
bottling machines, indexing tables, precision and heavy duty applications

Standard: Standard series consists of ball and crossed
roller types, with a hardened and ground raceway.
Light (up to 1.2m in diameter): The light series type, with larger raceway
clearance offers an economical solution for
lighter applications.
RLX Compact: Rollix's new compact line features high stiffness
and weight saving design with high accuracy.
Six ungeared sizes up to 721 mm OD available.

BOLTS

The normal recommendation by ROLLIX is to use 10.9 grade bolts to fix slewing rings to the mating structures.
In recent times 10.9 grade bolts have become increasingly difficult to procure in Australia. Imtec now has the
opportunity to supply you with both 10.9 and 12.9 grade bolts by sourcing them from Europe. Bolts of all sorts of
diameters, lengths and various DIN standards (including DIN 912 and DIN 931) are available, either from our
Braeside stock or on indent order from Germany.
